Looking back, looking forward

Today I begin the last year of my 20's.
It has been an interesting decade to say the least, but I am hoping that life will continue to improve in the years to come. I have spent the last decade wrestling with issues that I hope none of you ever have to face. This experience has nearly overwhelmed me in more ways than one, but thankfully the dust is beginning to settle and life is bearable again. I still long for fulfillment and happiness and to discover who I am and who I want to be. I pray that the next year and all the years ahead allow me to continue to help others reach their full potential. I look forward to finding answers and raising more questions. I hope to find new friendships and to strengthen old ties. I hope to grow older and wiser and to understand more fully God's purpose for my life. I plan to read more, to laugh more, and to not be quite as serious. I want to tell the people I love that I care about them often. I will not let the fact that life is not perfect take my joy or limit my satisfaction. I will continue to write and explore my creativity.
I hope to spend more time here with you on this blog.
Today is a new beginning.
Seize the moment.
Dare to live honestly.
Make an impact.

Thanks for reading.
